What’s the scan/tap range and speed?
  • NFC tap range: 0 - 4 cm; opens in ~ 0.5 - 1.5 seconds on most modern phones.
  • QR: Instantly scannable via native camera apps; works at typical arm’s-length distances.
What NFC chip types do you use?
  • Default: NTAG213 or NTAG215 for broad compatibility and reliability.

General Questions

Below are some common General questions about our Products.

What are NFC cards and how do they work?
  • NFC (Near Field Communication) cards let smartphones open a link with a tap - no app required.
  • Each card can be programmed with a URL, landing page, menu, or any web destination.
  • We also print a unique QR code on each card for scan-to-view access and added compatibility.
Can every card have a unique QR code?
  • Yes. We encode NFC and print a matching unique QR on each card.
  • Variable data printing supports names, titles, emails, employee IDs, Logos, and more.
Do you offer dynamic (editable) links?
  • No, we offer programmed QR Code to your UNIQUE URL. It’s your UNIQUE QR Code that links to your Google Page, Website, Facebook Page or Instagram Account. In this way it is harder for third party to put their own data.
Which phones are compatible?
  • NFC: Most modern iPhones (XS and newer) and Android phones with NFC enabled.
  • QR: Any smartphone with a camera.
  • Older or NFC-disabled phones can still use the printed QR code.
Can you pre-program the NFC and test the links?
  • Yes. We program links per your data file and verify both NFC and QR for each unit.
What customisation options do you offer?
  • Color printing front and back
  • Branding on NFC cards (printed)
  • Variable data (names, roles, unique IDs, Company Names, Logos unique QR codes), practically anything that you need.
Are there security features?
  • We lock the NFC tags into the NFC Cards as read-only after programming. This makes it harder for third party to put their own data.

What if a phone doesn’t read the NFC?
  • Ensure NFC is enabled (Android) and tap near the phone’s NFC antenna area.
  • Use the printed QR code as a universal fallback.
  • Still stuck? Contact support - we’ll troubleshoot or replace if there’s a hardware issue.
